Report: Govt may satisfy some Rosneft’s requests for wealth money
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 18 (PRIME) -- Requests filed by Russian oil major Rosneft for money from the National Wealth Fund cannot be fully approved, but some of them will be satisfied, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview to Rossiya 24 TV channel Thursday.
“We would have approved them, if we could. But in reality the fund’s resources are rather limited. I think that the full request’s amount is very unlikely to be granted, but some part will be provided from the point of granting funds from the National Wealth Fund,” Novak said.
Rosneft’s projects for the development of infrastructure, fields in eastern Siberia and for upgrading oil refineries are worthy of the fund’s money, he added.
